The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Prague hosted an exclusive recital by internationally acclaimed pianist Rüya Taner at the ambassadorial residence. The evening was organized by Metin Feyzioğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Czech Republic, and Mrs. Birgül Feyzioğlu.
Distinguished guests included Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Marie Chatardová, President of the Supreme Court Petr Angyalossy, and Rector of Charles University Jiří Zima. Numerous ambassadors and senior diplomats, academics, members of the artistic community, and business representatives were also in attendance. Rüya Taner, originally from Northern Cyprus, is celebrated for her expressive artistry and internationally acclaimed performances and is regarded as one of Türkiye’s leading concert pianists. Her artistic achievements include appearances at prestigious venues such as London’s Wigmore Hall, as well as recordings featured on Turkish Airlines international flights. During the evening in Prague, guests enjoyed a carefully curated musical programme entitled Sweet Waters of Asia, which showcased her exceptional technical mastery and emotional depth while creating an intimate and unforgettable cultural atmosphere within the embassy residence. The concert was followed by a reception, offering guests an opportunity for meaningful conversation and cultural exchange in a pleasant and elegant setting.
