On the occasion of the State of Qatar’s official reception, held on 9 December in Prague, His Excellency Mr. Nasser bin Ibrahim Allenqawi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Czech Republic, welcomed distinguished guests from the political and social spheres.
The ceremonial evening, attended by the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Mr. Andrej Babiš, and the former President of the Czech Republic, Mr. Václav Klaus, was opened by the Ambassador’s keynote address. In his speech, he highlighted the exceptional bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed interest in further strengthening trade and economic cooperation. He also emphasized the need to finalize and sign the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments between the Czech Republic and the State of Qatar.
