At the end of September, a state reception - Saudi Arabia’s National Day - took place at the Grand Hotel River Park in Bratislava, with the participation of the Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic, Robert Kaliňák.
During this diplomatic evening, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated the 94th anniversary of its founding - the historic day of September 23, 1932, when King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud unified various regions of the Arabian Peninsula and officially established the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremonial evening began with the national anthems of both countries, followed by speeches from His Excellency, Saudi Ambassador Abdullah Bin Khaled Tawlah, and Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák, in which both highlighted the strong and ever-deepening mutual relations.
