On Thursday morning, May 7, His Excellency Fahad Abdullah S. Alkhaybari, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., met at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Prague with David Kasal, Chair of the Czech Republic-Saudi Arabia Interparliamentary Friendship Group. The main topic of the meeting was an exchange of views on bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
David Kasal reaffirmed the commitment of the new Czech government to strengthening relations with Saudi Arabia, particularly in the fields of economics and trade, and expressed his readiness to provide any assistance that could help elevate bilateral relations to a higher level. Ambassador Alkhaybari, for his part, welcomed the establishment of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group in the Chamber of Deputies and emphasized its important role in strengthening mutual relations across various sectors. He also informed David Kasal about the recently established Saudi-Czech friendship group in the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has fifteen members.
