The coronation jewels weren't the only treasure on display at Prague Castle in January. Original objects from the workshop of Croatian artist Ivan Meštrović could also be seen in the Chapel of the Holy Cross.
A show of twelve 52-centimeter eggs made from noble materials, crafted with a secret technique, was part of a worldwide exhibition tour that took place under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic.
Ivan Meštrović's works can be seen in galleries from London to Monaco, he also creates large-scale objects with levitating elements. The collection shown in Prague is partly owned by international collectors. The select few remaining pieces have been loaned on a short-term basis and can be seen at the luxury Four Seasons Hotel Prague.
Czech businesswoman Tamara Kotvalová supports the work of Ivan Meštrović and his creative journey. Her company Carollinum was a partner of the event and is also at the disposal of Czech collectors in case of interest in these unusual pieces. More than a hundred important guests gathered at the event in the Chapel of the Holy Cross.
