The Elite Model Look competition, hosted by the Elite Model Management agency, sparks a new rising star of the modeling industry every year. Since its establishment in 1983, Elite Model Look has been on the lookout for new talent all over the world.

In terms of size, quality, and professionalism, this competition is the largest and most prestigious of its kind in the world. It takes place in more than 30 countries around the world and tens of thousands of male and female models sign up to compete every year.

Famous faces

Elite Model Look helped discover many famous faces that have gone on to appear on the front pages of the world’s leading fashion magazines. The competition helped kickstart the careers of a number of contemporary modeling stars. Among them are Cindy Crawford, Gisele Bundchen, Hana Jiřičková, Linda Vojtová (worldwide winner of Elite Model Look 2000), Denisa Dvořáková (worldwide winner of Elite Model Look 2006), Eva Klímková (worldwide winner of Elite Model Look 2013), Barbora Podzimková (worldwide winner of Elite Model Look 2014), Jana Tvrdíková (worldwide winner of Elite Model Look 2016), Andrej Chamula (worldwide winner of Elite Model Look 2019), and Amelie Konšelová (worldwide winner of Elite Model Look 2021).

The rules are such that every winner first participates in the national finals (Schwarzkopf Elite Model Look here in Czechia) and subsequently in the international finals where they go through many photoshoots, catwalk lessons, and media interviews. The competition culminates in a gala where a celebrity jury announces Elite agency’s future star. In Czechia and Slovakia, Elite Model Look has been running since 1992.

This season’s main partner is once again the successful hair product brand, Schwarzkopf, which has had a long-term collaboration in the past with supermodels such as Claudia Schiffer or Heidi Klum. “I am pleased that Schwarzkopf is the long-term general partner of the Elite Model Look competition in Czechia and Slovakia. As Schwarzkopf is synonymous with beautiful hair, so is Elite Model Look synonymous with beautiful young women and men – a perfect coupling for a modeling competition,” says Karolina Markiewicz-Kusowska, Director of the Beauty Care CZ and SK division, about the partnership between Elite and Schwarzkopf.

Saša Jány, Schwarzkopf Elite Model Look CZ and SK Director, is also pleased. “I am happy that our casting activities in Czechia and Slovakia are highly successful,” he says. “The interest that young people have shown in the Schwarzkopf Elite Model Look project is incredible. I believe that we will discover new talents that will find success also on social media, which gives this new generation of models a “strong voice” and a way to express themselves. We are doing our best to help the new faces we represent realize their uniqueness and understand that beauty exists in many shapes and sizes. I believe they will build on the previous success of Hana Jiřičková, Bára Podzimková, Jana Tvrdíková, and Josef Utěkal. I appreciate the long-term support of our partners – Schwarzkopf, Krups, and Oriflame.”

Elite World Group focuses on fashion industry services and owns the New York-based modeling agency, The Society, which represents supermodels such as Adriana Lima or Kendall Jenner. The Elite Licensing portfolio also includes the Women modeling network. The Elite modeling agency was established in Paris in 1972 and has become the most prestigious agency in the world over the course of its existence. As a big mover in the modeling industry, Elite has laid the groundwork for modeling management and it keeps innovating in the modeling agency world. Via the network it has amassed over the years, it is able to provide its models with the avenues to reach worldwide audiences and attain the supermodel status, and in so doing drives its business. All the while providing a high level of professional care to its models.
