The state reception for Singapore took place in the Kunsthalle at Prague's Klárov late this June with the attendance of Minister of Transportation Martin Kupka, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber Jan Skopeček, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Jiří Kozák, and the support of MEP Jan Zahradil.
The guest of honor, Speaker of the Singaporean Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin, began his speech by highlighting Singapore's great interest in mutual cooperation and expressed personal appreciation for the work of MEP Jan Zahradil on bolstering Czech-Singaporean relations. The event was hosted by Richard Lui, a news anchor for MSNBC and NBC News.
