Signing of a Czech-Qatari treaty This summer in Doha, Minister of Finance, Zbyněk Stanjura, together with Qatari Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, signed a treaty on the avoidance of double taxation, which clearly outlines the types of income to be taxed in each country.
The treaty also strengthens the legal standing of entrepreneurs in both countries. The ministers also agreed that there is a need to enter into an agreement on the protection of investments as early as possible, which could be signed by the two states by the end of this year. The signed treaty will facilitate trade between the two countries and support the development of economic relations between Czechia and Qatar.
