The final of the highly prestigious modeling competition Schwarzkopf Elite Model Look 2023 Czech Republic and Slovakia took place late this summer in the Spanish Hall at Prague Castle.
The winners were Aneta Matúšková and Filip Kocábek for Czechia and Zuzana Kistyová and Ivo Korčák for Slovakia. They will go on to represent their countries in the world final. The jury also awarded the first place to Nikita Podvalyenko from Ukraine.
The jury deciding on the winners was made up of experts in the fields of fashion, culture, and media, partners of the project, and international modeling agents. It included, among others, supermodel Michaela Kocianová, Elite Model Look Global Director Jennifer May Cope, Director of Oriflame ČR Jessica Anderson, and the event's director and co-owner of the Elite Prague and Elite Bratislava agencies Saša Jány. The final event saw a lineup of supermodels from the Elite Prague and Elite Bratislava agencies, such as Karolína Čapková, Eva Klímková, Agáta Burešová, Aneta Měšťanová, as well as Slovak supermodels Sasha Gachulincová and Michaela Hlaváčková, and others. The music performance was handled by Dan Bárta. The final event also included a show put on by the Slovak artist Katarzia, who also hosted the entire night. The set was designed by renowned scenographer Lucia Škandíková.
The final event's main partner was OBSESSION Concept Store, which represents the brands Zimmerman, Victoria Beckham, Jil Sander, Elie Saab, Etro, Oscar de la Renta, and many others in Czechia. The male finalists appeared on stage in garments from the workshop of prominent Czech designer Jan Černý. Daniela Pilná was in charge of makeup, and Oriflame was the beauty partner. The glamor of the female finalists and VIP guests was highlighted by jewelry from the event's exclusive partner – the Czech jewelry brand ALO Diamonds and the Halada jewelry house. The Feminity lifestyle magazine was also among the partners.
