During the last week of March, the Diplomatic Evening of the State of Qatar took place in the picturesque backdrop of the premises of the iconic Jalta Hotel, hosted by The Business Soireé s.r.o. in cooperation with the CzechTourism agency. The event was held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, and MP and Chairman of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group Czech Republic-Qatar, Petr Bendl (ODS).
The event saw more than 100 guests attend, including members of different boards of trade, The Business Soirée staff, high-ranking officials of various countries, politicians, representatives of different ministries, and guests of the diplomatic evening’s partners. The event’s main partners were Sev.en Energy, Altair Consulting, Temperatior s.r.o., Motorpal a.s., and Bageterie Boulevard, all of whom are due a great deal of thanks. We would also like to thank the event’s other partners: Qatar Airways, Flower Service, and the Board of trade for GCC countries. Jana Doleželová was the MC for the evening, ensuring that the event flowed smoothly and the atmosphere was always pleasant. The event started off with the opening speeches of Qatari Chargé d’Affaires, HE Mohammed Al-Madadi, Minister of Industry and Trade, Jozef Síkela, Minister of Transportation, Martin Kupka, CzechTourism Director, Jan Herget, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jiří Kozák. The guests were also welcomed by the representatives of the event’s partners: Jan Dienstl (Sev.en Energy), Michal Fišer (Motorpal a.s. / Temperatior s.r.o.), and by Peter Závodský, co-owner of The Business Soirée s.r.o. publishing house, representing the host. A concert by the students of the Jan Deyl Conservatory presented a nice cultural intermezzo, livening up the entire event.
