Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Government and Minister of Economy Denisa Saková received a delegation led by Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal F. Al-Ibrahim in November. The primary conclusion was the signing of an agreement on double taxation related to income tax and preventing tax fraud.
The negotiations further revolved around topics of cooperation for Slovak businesses, primarily in the fields of energy, renewables, mining, heavy industry, automotive and defense, construction, infrastructure, water management, and the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Minister of Investment, Regional Development, and Informatics Richard Raši, State Secretaries of the Ministry of Economy Kamil Šaško and Vladimír Šimoňák, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Rastislav Chovanec, and State Secretary of the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development, and Informatics Michal Kaliňák also attended the meetings.
