To celebrate the National Day, commemorating the establishment of the modern state, under the auspices of the Ambassador to Germany, who also represents Czechia, Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla held a gala reception at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Berlin.
In the introduction, the ambassador gave a speech assessing the economic, educational and cultural achievements of the state, including the empowerment of women and religious tolerance. He also appreciated the friendly relations between Germany and Bahrain.
Miguel Berger, director of economic affairs at the German Foreign Ministry, also expressed pride in the friendship that unites the two countries. He also praised the success of the Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations in Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which was also attended by the German delegation.
The event was attended by a number of guests, including foreign ambassadors, senior officials of the German Foreign Ministry and members of the Bundestag, entrepreneurs, media representatives and Bahraini students.
